About this unit
This is the OM651 in its longitudinal C-Class W204 configuration - the version fitted to the four-cylinder diesel W204 range from 2008 to 2014, carrying part number OM651-USED-W204. This used unit is removed from a donor vehicle, tested, and supplied with recorded mileage; a fully reconditioned option with new wear parts is available above as a selectable tab. Early OM651 engines were affected by injector sealing issues addressed under a Mercedes service campaign, and the camshaft drive sits at the transmission end - both reasons worn units are typically replaced complete rather than repaired in the vehicle. Every unit we supply has injector seats inspected and the drive assembly checked as standard before dispatch.

If the vehicle turns out not to be compatible, return the engine uninstalled within 14 days for a full refund including original delivery cost. UK mainland delivery only, typically 2-4 working days on a kerbside pallet, with tracking emailed on dispatch.

C-Class W204 engine FAQs
This unit is configured for the four-cylinder 2.1 diesel W204 models - C200 CDI, C220 CDI and C250 CDI, built 2008-2014. It does not fit the earlier OM646-engined 2007-2008 cars or the V6 diesel C320/C350 CDI. Enter your registration in the checker on this page to confirm your exact specification before ordering.
The C250 CDI uses a higher state of tune of the same base engine, with a two-stage turbocharging arrangement rather than the single turbo of the C200/C220 CDI. The long block we supply is common across these variants - your original turbocharging and fuel system carries over - but always confirm by registration so we allocate the correct configuration.
Early OM651 engines from roughly the 2009-2010 window were affected by injectors that could leak at the injector seat, addressed by a Mercedes service campaign at the time. Every used unit we supply has injector seats inspected before dispatch, and a reconditioned option with fully renewed injector seats is available as a selectable upgrade.
If your vehicle turns out not to be compatible, return the engine uninstalled within 14 days of delivery for a full refund including original delivery cost. The registration checker exists to prevent this happening in the first place.
