Due to the extremely limited production numbers of both the E65/E66 760i and Rolls-Royce Phantom VII, reconditioned units are the primary supply route for the N73 — used units are scarce and command premium pricing. Both groups favour reconditioned units given the specialist nature of the V12 engine and the high value of the host vehicles. The N73 is BMW's naturally aspirated V12 engine, produced from 2003 to 2016. It powered the 7 Series E65/E66 760i/760Li as the N73B60 (6.0L, 445 PS) and the Rolls-Royce Phantom VII as the N73B68 (6.75L, 453–460 PS). It was the world's first production V12 engine to feature gasoline direct injection, alongside Double VANOS and Valvetronic. Common wear points include high-pressure fuel pump failure, cooling system leaks (particularly the coolant pipe), and oil leaks from gaskets and seals. Every unit we supply has the fuel system, cooling system, and gaskets inspected and renewed as standard before dispatch.
