For lower-mileage donor vehicles (under 80,000 miles), used units can represent a more cost-effective choice — but always factor in the cost of preventative maintenance before fitting. BUYER ISSUE NOTE: The N62 is BMW’s first production V8 with valvetronic and a four-valve-per-cylinder cross-flow cylinder head design.
