For all M156 application groups, reconditioned units are the primary feed condition in this ERF because live used supply has not been verified and AMG V8 preparation requires controlled build standards. Used units may be added to any group only after donor-parc availability is confirmed. The M156 is AMG's naturally aspirated 6.2-litre V8, fitted to a limited number of high-performance Mercedes-Benz models between 2006 and 2015. As these vehicles age, replacement demand exists for complete units that are ready to fit without the lead time of component-level work in the vehicle.
