For the transverse 200 PS applications (Group 1), used units are widely available and offer excellent value. For the high-output longitudinal and transverse applications (Groups 2 and 3), reconditioned units are more commonly selected given higher replacement cost and vehicle value; the legacy 1.8T (Group 4\) is best served by reconditioned units due to age and parts availability. The EA113 2.0 TFSI engine was Audi and Volkswagen's predecessor to the EA888, fitted across A3, S3, TT, TTS, A4 and A6 models from 2004 to 2015. Replacement demand is driven by timing belt service intervals (typically 60,000–110,000 miles), balance shaft sprocket wear, and high-mileage oil consumption. Every unit we supply has the timing belt, tensioner, and water pump replaced as standard, with balance shaft components inspected before dispatch.
